Capture the essence of the places you visit on your holidays and travels, from magnificent landscapes to small scenes.

Content:

  • How to photograph landscapes, cityscapes, landmarks and buildings

  • How light affects your shots and how to take correctly exposed shots

  • How to use graduated and polarising filters for better skies

  • How the right composition can transform your photographs

  • Useful information for landscape photographers at home and abroad

Where:  Commencing in the classroom with a briefing to make sure that you know how to set up your camera, before venturing out to your locations for the day where your tutor will take you to the best vantage points to capture stunning images, and be on hand to answer your questions and discuss your images with you throughout the day.  At the end of the day you'll return to the classroom to review and discuss your images as a group.

Cameras:  All cameras welcome.

Equipment:  To get the most from this workshop you will require a tripod (full height).  Loan tripods are often available, please contact your local tutor.

Optional Equipment:  Your tutor will be able to loan you graduated filters to try on the day.   Useful, but by no means essential are your own graduated filters, polarising filter, remote shutter release.
